Due Diligence

Business-to-business consulting: advising other companies

for more than 30 years.

When we conduct a due diligence analysis, we check the balance sheets, profit and loss accounts as well as the legal and fiscal situation of a company on behalf of a party that is considering investing in, taking over or merging with that company (target business). This usually entails formulating the basic parameters (or ensuring the basic parameters are as expected) that are used as a solid foundation on which the purchasing decision, and subsequent purchase price, is based.

The fundamental aim of due diligence is thus to provide the investor with specific information about the target business and its inherent risks, and to use these findings as a basis for the overall purchasing decision as well as the cost of the acquisition.
